Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Aatank. It is a Hindi horror film starring Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana. Bhoomi Rajgor plays the role of Stree in this movie, replacing Flora Saini who played the role in the 2018 film Stree.

In Stree 2, the haunting tale of Stree extends beyond Chanderi, bringing its dark influence over into the surrounding towns and new folklore steeped in dark, ancient lore. Vicky (Rajkummar Rao) and his friends come back, reluctantly stepping back into the ghostly realm when a fresh wave of disappearances startles the town. This time, the stakes are much higher since there are new hints on the involvement of other supernatural entities, and each of them has his power of death and haunting history.

A reclusive stranger joins the group, stating that he knows Stree’s real origins and the dark ritual that had brought her to life in the first place. The two of them together have to decipher cryptic symbols, track ancient trails, and confront eerie tales from the town’s past with sinister coloring as if a wrong had been done to those spirits. Infused alongside familiar horror-comedy that made Stree a hit, Stree 2 is full of hair-raising encounters as well as marvelously woven humor.

Even the characters grow and grapple with their inner demons: Vicky, battered by visions, struggles with his role in this haunting, while his friends attempt to balance skepticism with the terror that slowly seeped into their everyday lives.

As they come closer to solving the mystery of Stree and its relation to the town and the mystery beyond, they arrive at a heart-wrenching decision they have to take in order to finally and once for all break the curse of Stree.
